Where it all Took Off
Our First Flight
It began with a single departure from Ithakis Airport in 2017 — no fanfare, no crowd, just a vision and the courage to act on it. That one test flight was the spark that set everything in motion.
Ithakis Airport
Ithakis was our first home. It was simple, small, and nothing close to what we have today, but it was ours. Every great airline has to start somewhere, and this was ours.
First Destination
Destination airports weren’t common in Roblox aviation back then, but we never cared much for the status quo. From day one, we wanted to offer something more — a real sense of travel. Even at Ithakis, we made sure passengers had somewhere to go. That vision of a complete, immersive experience has never left us.

Since our founding in 2017, Eliin Air has been driven by a vision to create a detailed and immersive airline experience, continuously evolving with each new development.

Our Very First Trailer
A glimpse into where it all began.
Before the routes, the fleet, and the community, there was this. Back in 2018, we released our very first teaser trailer, giving the world an early look at what Eliin Air was becoming. It wasn’t perfect, but it was ours. A raw snapshot of the ambition that would go on to define everything we’ve built since. Watch it and see where the dream first took shape.
Our Humble Beginnings
What Started as a Side Hustle
Back in 2017, founders FiliipGames & DaveAviator dreamed of creating something truly unique, an experience that would stand out in the world of virtual aviation.
Through countless hours of dedication and creativity, they drew inspiration from the real-world airline Ellin Air and set out to build a new Greek aviation experience. At its peak, the project showed real potential to grow into something significant.
However, in 2019, due to personal differences within the management board, the decision was made to pause operations. Despite this, the spirit of innovation and ambition laid the foundation for what Eliin Air is today.

A Necessary Stop
By 2019, life had caught up with the founders. The pressures of high school, combined with growing tensions within the leadership team, made it impossible to continue at the pace Eliin Air demanded.
The decision to suspend operations wasn’t taken lightly. All assets were carefully archived, nothing was sold or handed off. The dream was being put on hold, not abandoned.
Not long after, one of the co-founders stepped away from Roblox entirely. With that, what had once felt like a temporary pause began to look permanent. For years, Eliin Air existed only in archived files and memories.
Reborn in 2025
The Comeback
After years of silence, the spark never fully went out.
In 2025, the two founders reconnected with a simple idea, one final flight for old times’ sake. But as the conversations continued, it became clear this wasn’t nostalgia talking. The passion was still there, and so was the ambition. What started as a one-off reunion quickly turned into something much bigger.
Returning wasn’t easy. Ro-Aviation had moved on. The tools, the standards, the community, everything had evolved while Eliin Air had been dormant. The old assets were outdated, the old methods no longer fit, and a full rebuild was the only real option.
So that’s exactly what they did. Rather than patch together the past, the founders committed to building something new from the ground up. Starting with a fresh route between Skiathos and Leros.
A small step, but a deliberate one. Eliin Air was back.
